Multipurpose rope clamp/grab. Very compact, it is designed for use in climbing a rope, back-up belaying, self-rescue, or tensioning a tyrolean traverse. It slides on the rope if overloaded. It is installed on the rope using a removable pin and thus completely encloses the rope. The Microcender is used on single ropes from 9 to 13mm.
